What you need to know

Here's a bit of information that you'll probably want to know, particularly if you haven't been to us before or if you haven't used a cattery in the past. If there is anything else you would like to know or if you would just like to have a chat about boarding your cat, please just give us a call.

BEDDING, TOYS & CREATURE COMFORTS

We provide beds and blankets but it’s a good idea to bring something from home – a cushion, blanket or favourite jumper, whatever you like as this will have smells of home and will help your cat to settle in. We have plenty of toys and treats but you are also welcome to bring your own. If your enjoys a groom, please bring your brushes or combs with you and we'll be more than happy to spend time grooming.

VACCINATIONS

Your cat must be up-to-date with their annual vaccinations. A new course must be completed at least two weeks before your drop off day. Your cat will need to be covered against Cat Flu (Feline Herpes Virus and Calicivirus), Feline parvovirus (also known as Infectious Enteritis) and Feline Leukaemia Virus (FeLV). Your vet can advise you. Flea and worming treatment will also need to be up-to-date.

FOOD

We stock several brands of food, and fresh water is always left down. If your cat has a special or veterinary diet or is a particularly fussy eater, then we ask you to provide their food. We provide bowls for food and water but you are very welcome to bring your own if you prefer. You can, of course bring any special treats for your cat for us to give while you are away.
